How much do you spend on consumer goods on average per month? How much tax do you pay? What is financed by taxes?

The idea behind this project is to make the average monthly expenditure of a German citizen tangible. For this purpose, various open statistics were evaluated and linked to each other, resulting in an average monthly amount in Euros. The wall thus symbolises the own household as well as the taxes and insurances to be paid. On the back of the cards, the individual items are further subdivided to make smaller cost items visible.
